We are thrilled to have successfully concluded a dynamic two-day workshop on “Employment through Online Freelancing” for the bright students of 3IT and 3SWE at the College of Science and Technology (CST).
The workshop, held on September 27th & 28th, 2025, and led by Mr. Nima Moktan and his colleague from Thimphu, was an immersive journey into the world of online freelancing.
Over the two days, participants engaged in:
Day 1: Mastering the fundamentalsβfrom understanding the freelancing landscape and identifying their unique skills and niches to crafting winning proposals and enhancing client communication.
Day 2: Taking actionable stepsβsetting up profiles on major freelancing platforms, learning the essentials of client management and professionalism, and exploring strategies for long-term growth and scaling their freelance careers.
It was an inspiring experience to equip our future tech professionals with the practical tools and knowledge to tap into global opportunities and kickstart their freelance journeys.
